Got questions? We've got answers! You can find info about almost everything you need to know before making a reservation and camping with us at Pine Cradle Lake Family Campground. If you have any other questions, please feel free to give us a call (570-247-2424) so we can help!

  • “How many people can camp on a campsite?”

Pricing is based on occupancy of four (4) guests on all sites. Children under the age of 3 are free and are not included in that count. There is an additional guest charge per person/per night - maximum 6 people total per site.

  • “Can we have friends and family visit us at the campground?”

Of course! All visitors must register in the office before entering the campground. We require a driver’s license in exchange for a gate card to access the park. Visitors have full access to the campground amenities for a small fee (contact the office for details). Our daily visiting hours are 9am to 9pm.

  • “What time is check-in and check-out?”

Campers are welcome to check in as early as 3pm the day of arrival. Check out as late as 11am for cabin/cottage rentals and 12pm for campsites and golf carts.

  • “Do you allow pets?”

Yes! Pets are family too. Campers may bring up to two pets per campsite (with a small per pet per night housekeeping fee if you are staying in one of our cabins or cottages). Please bring proof of rabies inoculation with you at check-in. All pets must be kept on leash and cleaned up after. Incessantly barking pets will be asked to leave the facilities.

  • “When is your swimming pool open?”

The swimming pool and splash pad are open from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend, weather permitting. Hours are typically from 9am to dusk. The splash pad is motion activated for energy savings!

  • “Can we bring firewood from home?”

It is against Pennsylvania's regulations to bring out-of-state firewood into the state. This is in an effort to control the Emerald Ash Borer and other invasive insects. Our camp store sells large bundles of firewood; however, you may still bring firewood from home.

  • “Can we bring our own golf cart?”

Yes! Only electric golf carts are permitted, and they must be registered at check-in. A mandatory annual permit must be purchased for each season. To receive this permit, you must show proof of insurance and agree to our golf cart policies, which include only licensed drivers operating the golf cart.

  • “Can we bring our own boat?”

Yes! You are welcome to bring your own boat, however gas motors are prohibited. Be sure to notify the office staff that you have a boat so that you can fill out a campground permit at check-in. We offer canoe, kayak, and pedal boat rentals. PA Boating laws require all boaters have a life vest and children under 16 must wear them. Boats may not be left unattended at the lake and must be locked when not in use.

  • “Can you swim in the lake?”

We unfortunately can not allow swimming in the lake. Our heated swimming pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day!

  • “Is there fishing at the campground?”

Yes! Our 18-acre lake is stocked with largemouth bass, crappie, perch, sunfish, bullhead and more! Catch and release only. No fishing license is required as long as you are camping with us. We also sell nightcrawlers and artificial bait/lures at the camp store for your convenience.

  • “Do you have wireless internet?”

Yes! You can access our wifi service from most areas of the park. There is an additional fee for this service. Please be aware we are in a rural area of PA and internet speeds are limited compared with what you may be used to at home.

  • “Is there cell phone service at the campground?”

Cell phone service is limited however there are areas in the campground you can get service. We also have a cell phone booster in our camp store and office that allows for full service with most major carriers.

  • “Will our children survive with limited access to their devices?”

Contrary to popular belief, your children will not only survive, they will thrive. Enjoy spending meaningful family time together free from the distractions of the modern world.

  • “Does your campground have cable TV hookups?”

Our campground is not equipped with cable hookups. We have plenty of amenities and activities to keep the whole family busy!

  • “Does your camp store accept credit cards?”

Yes! We accept all major credit cards. Minimum $20 purchase. If your purchase does not meet the credit card minimum, no worries! We can run a tab and swipe your card upon check-out once you've met the $20 minimum.

  • “How far in advance can I make a reservation?”

We take reservations up to one year in advance. Our reservations team is available year around. Call our office at (570) 247-2424 or click here to reserve online.

Yes, but our seasonal campsites are currently full.

  • “Can I bring alcohol with me to the Campground?”

It was our 3rd time here in June. Beautiful family park with so many amenities, something for everyone, with a heated swimming pool! Beautiful surroundings and nature. Many different camp sites to choose from. We usually use our tent, but there are cabins, and RV sites as well. Playgrounds for the kiddos, pet friendly, watercraft to rent or bring your own. Walking and bicycle paths to share with the rented golf carts to get around. Just an all round pleasurable campground to visit or live year round. We highly recommend this Beautiful camping ground park.

Had a lot of fun camping here with the family! We rented a cabin in the woods and rented a golf cart. The kids enjoyed the splash pad and exploring. Caught a few small fish in the pond. Enjoyed relaxing at the campfire and making memories.

We just stayed here for the first time. The whole campground is very clean and well maintained. All staff members we encountered were nice and helpful. The other campers were all very friendly. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was beautiful and the sites are the biggest we’ve seen. The lake was gorgeous! The kids had a great time with the paddle boards and kayaks. The game room and playgrounds kept them occupied. The pool and splash park were great. The water was clean and warm. We will definitely go back and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Went for the weekend and had a great time! The campground is beautiful and well cared for, the staff are wonderful and friendly. I love the docks for boating and fishing and the multiple playgrounds make it a great place for kids. The pool was warm, clean and the splash pad is also right there and so much fun! I'm not sure where the Gaga ball game originated but I love how it brings the campground kids together to play like the older days. We will be visiting again!

What a fantastic campground!! Very clean, well maintained... public bathrooms cleaned often... heated pool, clean saltwater... Wi-Fi is upgraded this passed week. Staff very knowledgeable, polite, always has a smile, unlike other campgrounds we’ve been to. We’ve been there for a wedding also!! Cabins are so new and clean. They have a well stocked store and some shirts for sale. We are going back in August for 11 nights!! Bringing our kayaks, they have them there to rent also, along with golf carts. It's close to home so friends can visit and enjoy our time with us for a day!! Great fishing I hear, catch and release. Want a family vacation? Think Pine Cradle Lake!!
